Enhanced Development Collaboration for a Financial Services Client

Challenge

A financial management company based in Australia sought to expand its development capabilities in response to significant growth. As the first external partner for this client, it was essential not only to provide development support but also to establish a robust framework for effective remote collaboration.

Solution

The project began with two Global BrainForce developers working on-site with the client's team, laying the groundwork for future partnerships. They implemented essential communication channels, set practices for planning and tracking work, and managed access to the client’s environment. This initial phase was completed in half the estimated time, leading to a gradual team expansion to 12 members, which makes up about 15% of the client’s development capacity. The collaboration continues to evolve, incorporating methodologies like Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and facilitating the transition from a monolithic architecture to microservices.
