Do you still need developers if AI writes the code?

Yes. AI now writes the majority of production code, but it does not own the result. Engineers are still needed to direct the AI, review and test every change, make architectural decisions, secure the system, and stay accountable for what ships. The job shifted from writing code to directing and owning it.

What is an AI-enabled developer?

An AI-enabled developer uses tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT to generate code, then applies engineering judgment to review, test, secure and integrate it. Their value is architecture, quality ownership and accountability for AI-generated output, not raw typing speed.

Is it cheaper to hire AI-enabled developers?

AI-augmented workflows deliver measurably faster output, and hiring dedicated remote engineers from the Philippines saves US, Australian and European companies roughly 60 to 70 percent versus local rates. The saving comes from the model, not from cutting the human review that keeps AI output safe.

How do you screen developers for AI-augmented work?

Global BrainForce assesses every engineer across 6 disciplines before placement: Technical Fundamentals, AI Development Skills, Architecture and Design, Quality and Testing, DevOps and Delivery, and Communication and Business Understanding. This validates that they can direct AI and own its output, not just match a tech keyword.

How quickly can I hire an AI-enabled development team?

Global BrainForce deploys dedicated AI-enabled developers on a Fast Track of 2 to 3 weeks, or 4 to 6 weeks for the full process, with complete operational ownership of HR, payroll, compliance and IT included.
